Delhi Belly – Teaser Promo
The first teaser of Aamir Khan production Delhi Belly is out. The promo feature a shabby looking man who is inside a dingy, dirty lavatory, farting. The flick signifies the true meaning of the term ‘Delhi Belly’- diarrhea experienced by travelers in a foreign country, who are not accustomed to the local food and water. The movie stars some known and unknown faces like Shenaz Treasurywala, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Vir Das and Poorna Jagannathan.
Well, the movie’s trailer is getting positive and overwhelming response from people. The movie buffs and fans now can’t wait till 1st July, when this adult comedy will hit the theaters.

Ash-Aamir are now friends… Thanks to Akshay and Twinkle…
The long long battle between Ash and Aamir was came to a still on the anniversary party of Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna.
Akshay and Twinkle celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary a couple of days ago and at the party, the bonding between Aamir and Ash was a sight to watch. They bonded at the party like nothing had ever gone wrong between them.
Differences between Ash and Aamir cropped up when the former opted out of Mangal Pandey and that too at the very last minute. At the time, Aamir had requested his good friend Rani Mukerji to step in.
According to a source, “Aishwarya had come much before Aamir arrived. Normally, Ash leaves most parties in not more than 10 minutes. However, at this one, when she learnt that Aamir and Kiran were on their way, Ash decided to wait.
When Aamir and Kiran arrived, Aishwarya met Aamir and spoke to him warmly. They discussed quite a few things including Kiran’s film Dhobi Ghat. Both Ash and Aamir were together at the party for some time but Aamir had to leave early, so he left with Kiran.”
Well, this time it was Ash who took the initiative.
The source further said, “Aamir has always been on very good terms with Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and would meet up with him whenever he could. However, there has been a problem between Ash and him for the longest time, which finally seems to have ended.”

It’s official now!!! Avantika and Imran Khan are married…
Imran and Avantika who were dating for seven years, had a civil registered wedding at home yesterday at 6 pm. It was quite a personal affair amidst only family members from both sides. The couple did not want any religious rituals as they belong to different communities.
Both, the bride and the groom looked ravishing in a Manish Malhotra outfit. The couple later entered their Pali Hill Bungalow in a black Porche. It is the same banglow where Imran Khan’s mother Nuzhat and mamujaan Aamir Khan also got married.
The couple is leavin for a three-day holiday to Phuket tonight.
Present were Aamir Khan and Kiran, his first wife Rina with both the kids Junaid and Ira, Mansoor Khan his wife Tina, Aamir’s mother and Nuzhat’s sisters Nikhat and Farhat.

Aamir and Rani to re-unite in a suspense drama…
Now this is some great news!!! After 2005, Ran Mukherjee and Aamir Khan will unite once again in Reema Katgi’s upcoming suspense drama.
“I am doing a film with Aamir. Over the years our chemistry will only get better, so it’ll be better in this film,” Rani told reporters.
“For me its wonderful to work with Aamir and specially after so long because the last film I did with him was Mangal RaniPandey: The Rising and over there also it was not a film based on us. But this one is more about us,” she added.
The 32-year-old also revealed her favorite actors.
“Shah Rukh and Aamir have always been my favorites and I have learnt a lot from them in my professional pursuits and in my life. It is my great honor that I worked with them in such wonderful films. I can do anything for them,” she said.
The actress also want’s to re unite with SRK.
“I’m going to meet Shah Rukh and tell him that he better start a film with me soon because I’m missing working with him,” she said.
Bollywood’s Big Fat Wedding…. Avantika weds Imran Khan…
The long-awaited big fat wedding of Bollywood actor Imran Khan and his fiancee Avantika Malik are all set to take place today. The duo are going to have a sunset wedding on a beach in Phuket, Thailand.
The wedding will be hush hush kinds with only the families of the couple. Tuesday night will see the two families and their closest friends heading to Phuket for a three-day celebration. But mamu jaan Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao will not be present for the celebrations as they need to complete the pending work on their forthcoming film, Dhobi Ghat, which releases on January 21.
Says a source, “It’s Avantika’s idea and she has done all the bookings and logistic arrangements. While both sides helped put up all the parties, this Khao Lak trip is completely Avantika’s brainchild.”
Designers Shantanu and Nikhil Mehra, who are taking care of the couple’s wedding dress, revealed that they have designed a scarlet gown for the bride, as it would be a sunset wedding.
The Sangeet ceremony held at Avantika’s farmhouse in Karjat on Saturday night saw Imran’s maamu Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao. Aamir’s ex wife Reena also came. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif too attended the sangeet though they came separately. Boman Irani, Kunal Kapoor, Shahana Goswami, Karan Johar, Minissha Lamba and many other celebrities graced the occasion.
Aamir to shoot in red light area….
Aamir Khan stayed indoor in a spooky house for a month in downtown Mumbai for wife Kiran Rao’s film Dhobi Ghat. Now, we hear he’s demanded to shoot Reema Kagti’s film, he recently signed, in Mumbai’s red light area.
The yet-untitled movie has Aamir playing a police officer who penetrates the red-light area while working on a case.
A sucker for perfection that he is, Aamir reportedly wants his portions in the film to be shot on actual locations, with real sex workers and pimps.
But director Reema Kagti and co-producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani have their apprehensions over Aamir’s demand as such a move might pose security threat to not just the actors but the entire film crew.
The movie also stars Rani Mukherjee and Kareena Kapoor. One of the two ladies plays a sex worker.
Since Aamir signs films very selectively, we’re sure Kagti must be having a killer script on her hands.
Salman Khan imitated again….
Salman Khan is yet again imitated in Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Dhobi Ghat. Let me tell you, this is not the first time. Salman has been imitated in in Jaane Tu… and Peepli Live too. And now, Dhobi Ghat will have Pratik wearing Sallu’s trademark bracelet and is also obsessed about body building. Well, Pratik’s character is a dhobi who wants to be an actor.
Despite all this, Aamir’s love for Salman is well known in the industry they are the best of friends. According to a source, “Aamir Khan loves Salman as a friend and his films are a proof of that. Many of Aamir’s films have some element of Salman Khan in them. And now, Pratik’s character in Dhobi Ghat is shown to be a Salman Khan fan. Pratik is seen wearing the famous Salman Khan bracelet.
He loves working out to build a body like Salman’s and he wants to become an actor like him. Aamir insisted that the character be Salman’s fan probably to make up for having mocked him in Jaane Tu… in the Pappu can’t dance saala song. So, Aamir suggested to Kiran that the posters of the film should also highlight this so it looks authentic on Pratik’s character.”
Kiran Rao confirms, “Yes, Aamir suggested Salman. Pratik’s character hails from a different city and is a part-time dhobi and a wannabe actor. He is into body-building and thinks Salman is a cool dude.”
The film is scheduled for release in cinemas on 21 January 2011.
SRK is not as big a star as Aamir and Salman…
This new year, the self proclaimed Badshah of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan, seems to have had a change of heart. After years of fighting from the Bollywood crown, SRK has now decided to pass it on to his biggest rivals Aamir Khan and Salman Khan.
Recently, on a chat show with Karan Johar, SRK confessed that he would like to grow up to be like Salman and Aamir. He also went on to admit that he can never be as big a star as the two Khans are.
However sources at the set also say that his statement is also an indication of the fact that Aamir and Salman entered the film industry earlier than him and so, that`s one of SRK’s ways of saying he is younger to them in experience and still has a lot to learn.
Aamir Khan head to Mahableshwar-Panchgani for new year…
Every New Year, Milan Luthria and Aamir Khan head to Mahableshwar-Panchgani where they have their country houses. Milan, in particular, loves to go horse-riding. Since the past three years, the duo have been trying to spend an evening together. Hope it6 happens this time… 
Has Aamir Spotted Something That Salman Hasn’t?
It is a well known fact that when it comes to choosing the right script-no one in the industry can beat Aamir Khan. His track record is enough to justify this statement.
So, recently film maker Reema Katgi, the director of Honeymoon travels Pvt. Ltd. approached Salman with a script about paranormal activities. Salman felt that the story was way too complex and showed the least bit of interest in the idea and declined the script.
Guess what! Reema took the same script to Aamir who was quick to say a yes to the thriller. Looks like Salman was unable to spot something that Aamir very easily could. Just goes to show the difference between their success rates.
This untitled project is being produced by Farhan Akhtar who also produced Reema’s first film with his friend Ritesh Sidhwani.
3 Idiots Movie Review
Signature Chopra-Hirani style X Chetan Bhagat’s characterization & situations + Aamir Khan’s superb acting = A thoroughly entertaining and absolutely hilarious movie that you shouldn’t miss! Rating: 4/5
Film critics would argue that 3 Idiots brings back memories from our good old Munnabhai MBBS where a breezy light-hearted hero – Rancho (Aamir Khan) questions the ills of our rote system of education and insists that ‘Kamyab banne ke liye nahi kaabil banne ke liye pardho, kamyabi jhak maar tumhare peeche aayegi!’ and challenges the ideals of the strict dean Viru Sahastra Buddhe (Boman Irani) who is bent on bursting the hero’s bubble again and again. The film becomes a roller coaster ride in the process in the war between Rancho and Virus (the dean) and the hero also tries to woo the dean’s daughter (as in Munnabhai too). I’d agree to the basic similarities between the two films, and the best similarity is that 3 Idiots is just as simple, good and hilarious as Munnabhai… perhaps also better!
The overall effect of the movie is superb. The film takes you by storm and absorbs you in the lives of adorable Rancho, Farhan and Raju who discover themselves in the process of getting an Engineering degree for themselves. Crisp and witty dialogues of Abhijaat Joshi and Raj Hirani applied to Chetan Bhagat’s suggested situations from his book Five Point Someone and of course Aamir Khan’s acting would hold tight of your senses till the end of the film. Undoubtedly, Aamir Khan outshines everyone and reigns supreme as the Best Actor!
The film has some moments which look too over-the-top, like when Mona’s (Mona Singh) non-responsive baby springs to life on the sound of Aal Izz Well mantra of Rancho and friends. But we are willing to over look that for the overall effect of the film. Performances are amazing and Aamir Khan takes it away completely from the others but Boman Irani is good and so are R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi. Kareena has a small but a cute role and she looks gorgeous in her minimal makeup look, love the sequence when she is drunk. Special mention to Los Angeles based actor Omi Vaidya in the role of Chatur Ramalingam, who gets to deliver the funniest sequence of the film – the Teacher’s Day speech that literally made people in the theatre roll on floor with laughter!
I’d say just don’t miss this film!
