Boman Irani

Boman Irani was born on 2 December 1959 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was born in a Parsi family and helped his mother run their ancestral bakery.

Boman Irani started photography in 1987 and continued until 1989. He ventured into acting in 2000 and started his career by appearing in theater. He made his debut in Bollywood with Everybody Says I’m Fine! but did not make his mark. He later appeared in low grossing movies like Lets Talk, Darna Mana Hai and Boom before finally appearing in Mubbabhai M.B.B.S. which made his mark in Bollywood. After Munnabhai M.B.B.S. there was no turning back for Boman Irani. He appeared in blockbusters like Main Hoon Na, Lakshya, Veer-Zaara, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Khosla Ka Ghosla, Don, 3 Idiots, Housefull, Cocktail and Jolly LLB.

Apart from acting in movies, Boman Irani also hosted the IIFA Awards with Ritesh Deshmukh in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. Boman Irani is married to Zenobia, with whom he has two sons, Danesh and Kayoze Irani.
