Kishore Aman eliminated from Dance India Dance 2
Geet ki gang has evaded the axe for the last two weeks but not anymore with Mangalore’s Kishore Aman being evicted from Dance
India Dance 2.
Despite a good performance, Kishore Aman lost out as he couldn’t garner enough votes. Aman lost out to Samuel Jack Gill. Shakti Mohan bagged the highest number of votes followed by Dharmesh Yelande and Amarjeet Singh.
In other action of the day, Bollywood legend ‘Jumping Jack’ was the special guest. Old he may be but Jeetendra did a jig with Terence.
Meanwhile, Arshad Warsi and Dia Mirza will be the guests for today (Sat) episode. The duo will be here to promote their upcoming film “Hum Tum aur Ghost.”
Mandira seems to be the flavour of the month for the Britishers
Actress Mandira Bedi is on cloud nine these days. As we all know she has been the face of Indian cricket and when recently she started hosting it for ITV in England the channel has broken all records in viewership of sports programming in the country.
Going by the figures, in first few days it has beaten last years all time record. ITV’s IPL ratings have gone five times over and the projection is its ratings will be 10 times over last year, apart from the regular programming on other channels. IPL clearly has emerged as a top sporting extravaganza on British television.
Mandira could not hide her excitement when she heard about all this and said,
“To be accepted and to be a part of something which is so overwhelming is like a dream come true. I hope we continue to entertain and bring all the excitement of the IPL as it happens”.
Back here in India Lalit Modi also expressed immense satisfaction on the way IPL has been accepted by the British audience.

Shah Rukh`s new teacher Kamal Hassan
For his upcoming Sci-Fi movie ‘Ra.One’, Shah Rukh Khan is taking lessons from none other than the gutsy, experimental Kamal Hassan. Kamal has starred in a number of south Indian films where he was required to perform explicit and excruciating stunts. At the bash thrown by SRK in Akon’s honour, Kamal Hassan was also spotted.

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor is on pins and needles of late. She had said early this week that she loves babies. She may not be ready for motherhood in real life but she is ready for it in reel life.
Well, the news is that she would play a glamorous mother to an eight-year-old in Anubhav Sinha’s Ra.1, which features Shahrukh Khan in the lead role. It is said that she would be seen in glamorous outfits designed by Manish Malhotra.
He revealed that the film is based in London and Kareena needs to be dressed keeping in mind the avatar of a modern mother.

Salman and Katrina’s bouncers creates trouble!
It is a fact that celebrities have bouncers to keep them safe when they are in public. But just imagine what happens if the same guards creates trouble to them!
The news is that Salman’s bodyguards were seen dragging away a female reporter and eventually hurting her after Salman was leaving the venue of muhurat of Smita Thackeray’s film Society. Similarly Katrina’s bodyguard stepped on a journalist’s foot, forcing her to cry out in pain after the actress was leaving the venue of FICCI-FRAMES Conference.
The best part is that Salman was seen laughing as he saw the journalist was dragged away by the guards. But Katrina on the other hand expressed her concern to the journalist and even warned her guard to be more careful.

Hrithik slapped by Barbara Mori!!
“Shooting for the movie Kites was total fun” says the director Anurag Basu. He recalled an incident where Barbara tried to play a prank on Hrithik. The actress slapped Hrithik for a particular sequence and the director okayed it. But she asked the director for a retake as she wanted to slap Hrithik again.:P
Hrithik was taken aback when the director asked for a retake when he had already okayed it not long ago. When the retake actually begun, Hrithik smelled a rat and slapped Barbara instead. He shocked his co-star for her prank and the unit of the film had a good laughter over it.
Maybe all the rumours between Hrithik and Barbara be having an affair during the shooting of started because of their wonderful chemistry.
Shahrukh, Hrithik replaced by Ranbir Kapoor!!
Ranbir Kapoor is relatively a newcomer in Bollywood compared to Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan but he outsmart these superstars in their own game. He has replaced Shahrukh as the brand ambassador of Pepsi and Hrithik in ITC’s John Players.
Ranbir humbly said that Shahrukh is a legend and that he is taking forward his legacy. He added that Hrithik is a style icon and have immense respect.

Ranbir and Katrina Love saga continues
A lot have been told about the hushed up love affair of Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor. But now it’s the time we throw some light on their ‘love affair’ again! And yes, this time it is not any ludicrous or a press implicated story. Infact this time there is a witness. Guess who? Yes, its none other than Priyanka Chopra!
Last year, during New Year’s, press had reported how Katrina had flown to US to be with Ranbir, where he was shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Anjaana Anjaani. When she became aware of the expose, the actress who’d claimed to the world that she was in UK with her family for the holidays, hopped on the next flight to London. Once home, she made sure she spoke to everyone from her landline, in order to prove to everyone (mainly Salman) that she was in London. Kat flew to the US a few more times to spend time with her man. She was discreet and made sure that she stayed away from the set, and no-one spotted her there until one night! Sounding like some thriller story! Only it’s the expose of a relationship, which brewed behind everyone’s back!
Except one night, when she came face-to-face with the film’s leading lady Priyanka Chopra. She panicked and the first thing that came to her mind was that now the news would get back home. Since the two actresses are not on talking terms, Kat asked her beau to speak to her and convince her to keep their little secret. And no one found out. Until now, that the unit is back.
