If sources are to be believed, the actors will be seen in Prabhudheva’s next untitled film produced by Gordhan Tanwani of Baba Films. Buzz is also that Yami Gautam of “Vicky Donor” fame has been finalised for an interesting role for the new project.

Ajay made is quite clear with these statements, “Salman Khan is a friend and I don’t mind working with him…. As far as Shahrukh is concerned, he is just an acquaintance…I work with people I am comfortable with.”

Now we’re not so sure if those comments disturbed Shahrukh in anyway, but his fans were definitely offended. Some even said that Ajay Devgn is jealous of Shahrukh’s career blossoming with the pairing up of SRK-Kajol whereas, Ajay and Kajol’s pair up wasn’t that exciting for the fans.

Tanuja, who also owns a house in Lonavala, has been trying to raise awareness among the local people to save the environment. Besides, she is member of the Lonavala-Khandala Citizens Forum (LKCF).

Recalling the cherishing time spent at Lonavala, Kajol said: “I have so many memories of this place when it was all barren. I mean there were no bungalow. In our area, besides ours, there was only one bungalow and nothing was there.”

“And I learnt how to cycle in Lonavala itself. My dad taught me cycling in front of our bungalow but now a park has been built there, a row of houses has come there. But before that, it was just a free road.”

“I still remember mom used to say to us to come home by 1 p.m but we used to go around and sit for four-five hours, just walk around the whole Lonavala, climbed the bushes and all,” added Kajol, who has been actively supporting various social and environmental issues with her husband.

Ajay, who too visited Lonavala in his childhood days, shared his memories associated with the place.

“I used to come here a lot in my childhood, especially during rains. At that time, I used to either take leave from the school or bunk off to come here. That time it used to be all open and a small beautiful hill station,” Ajay said.

“Now it has become a full fledged city. There is no less difference between Lonavala and Mumbai now,” added the the 44-year-old.

Says a source, “While shooting Rowdy Rathore the team had decided to reunite for another Tamil remake. Ramana rights had been purchased by Sanjay Bhansali. And Prabhu was on board in principle. But then after Rowdy Rathore, he got exceedingly busy as a director with Ramaiya Vastavaiya, the film launching newcomer Girish Taurani followed by Rambo Rajkumar. After that Prabhu immediately goes into his film with Ajay Devgn.”  

Infact, there was a choice for Prabhu Deva between directing Akshay Kumar in the Ramana remake and Devgn in an untitled original film. Eventually Prabhu decided not to direct remakes of South Indian films.

Says Prabhu sorrowfully, “They asked me to do this film. I’d have loved to. It would have been a new experience for me. So far I’ve only directed out-and-out entertainers. Ramana has strong social message. I’m at the moment completing Ramaiya Vastavaiya and Rambo Rajkumar. Both original scripts. In July, I start my film with Ajay Devgn and that too is an original script. Moreover isn’t it good to work with new actors and a new team constantly? Repetition makes you stagnant.” 

We also hear reports that Ajay Devgn had made it very clear that he wants Prabhu Deva to make a full-on action entertainer. “My films also serve a social purpose. They’re designed to be stress-busters. They make audiences forget their worries. Ajay Devgn’s  film too is a complete masala script, guaranteed to make everybody forget their worries,” promises Prabhu Dheva.

Shagufta began her career as a writer under the Bhatt camp production company – Vishesh Films with ‘Woh Lamhe‘ and has been part of the company as a dialogue writer and screenplay writer for movies like  `Aawarapan`, `Raaz 2`, `Jism 2`, `Murder 2`, `Raaz 3` `Aashiqui 2` and others.

Emraan would be the first obvious choice for Shagufta and has been the poster boy of Bhatt camp.

“He (Emraan) is my first choice for the film. I have told him that I am directing a film and would like to have him in the movie. He is quite ok with it and has asked me to narrate the story. He is not in town… I am waiting for him to come back then will narrate him,” Shagufta said.

In case Emraan Hashmi is not selected for the film, Shagufta has Ajay Defgn and Akshay Kumar in her mind.

“I want someone who has lot of anger to express on screen. I am also thinking of Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar. I feel they portray anger very well on screen. I haven`t approached them they are just on my wish list. I will approach these three actors. It is a solo hero and heroine film,” she said.

Shagufta Rafique has been working on this film for about four years now and fears the risk of taking a newcomer for her action-thriller flick.

“I feel action films do not go well with newcomers. Audience want to enjoy when their hero beats up the bad guy on big screen. I think love stories always works with newcomers but action-thriller films needs some names, I can’t risk with newcomers,” she said.

“My film is an action thriller. The thriller element is backed with a strong love story and action will come whenever it is required. Its a new story, never done in India. It has been liked by the producers and hence I am doing it,” she added.

The film will be backed by Reliance Entertainment and Pooja Bhatt. The film is likely to go on floors by the end of this year.

“The idea is to have an ensemble music album for ‘Satyagraha’. Prakashji is roping in celebrated musicians and composers to collaborate for a youthful album for the film. As of now Salim-Sulaiman and Indian Ocean have been signed on. There will be three other composers,” a source close to the team told IANS.

Elaborating on the kind of songs, the source said: “While some of them will be youth anthems, some will be romantic songs, and some will be peppy situational songs. Prasoon Joshi is also teaming up with Prakash Jha for the first time for the youth anthem.”

“Satyagraha” features Amitabh Bachchan, whose characters is modelled on activist Anna Hazare. Big B is joined by the likes of Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor and Amrita Rao in the cast.
