Aiyya is a drama movie that revolves around a middle class independent women Meenakshi(Rani Mukerji). Meenakshi has a grand mother who is blind and cannot walk, mother who is wants to get Meenakshi married, a brother Nana who’s life is about loving dogs. In all these circumstances Meenakshi dreams about his future husband as a prince who will take her on a flying horse. Meenakshi eventually sees Surya (Prithviraj) and falls in love with him at the first sight. But Meenakshi’s parents wants her to marry someone else. Rest of the movie is about how Meenakshi wins the heart of Surya and convinces her parents to agree for her marriage with Surya.
