Could it be true this time, at least? We hear Aishwarya Rai may finally make a comeback in movies! Since the birth of baby Aaradhya, Ash had been keeping a low profile and when she made her first public appearance, rumour-mongers started working overtime! Even though she’s currently away at Cannes, the buzz around her hasn’t stopped!

From thriller to comedy, Aishwarya is rumoured to have been planning every genre! But, hold on – she hasn’t signed any projects till date. The latest buzz is that, Aishwarya Rai may be signed for a dark thriller, which is to be produced by Saif Ali Khan. For this project, Varun Dhawan has already been signed. Aishwarya Rai was clicked with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan and mom Vrinda Rai at the Mumbai airport as she left for the ongoing Cannes Film Festival. This is Aishwarya’s 12th consecutive appearance at Cannes.

This year, apart from her regular appearance for the cosmetic brand L’Oreal, she will also be the guest of honour at a special evening celebrating 100 years of Indian cinema at Cannes on May 19.

Ash’s pa in law, Amitabh Bachchan is going all betaab, waiting for his bahurani Ash and grand daughter Beti B.

Big B wrote on Twitter, “Media tomorrow, and then wait for the ‘bahurani’ (daughter-in-law) to arrive with ‘bitiya’ (granddaughter), meet them and get on plane back to London and then home!!.”

Everyone is agog to know what she will don on the red carpet.
