Another star kid takes after her father and joins Bollywood. This one even has the backing of the Godfather (to all successful newcomers) Salman Khan. But that’s certainly not why we are talking about Athiya Shetty.
Daughter of Suniel and Mana Shetty, Athiya seems to be the new fashionista in B-town. From magazine covers to red carpets and even her Instagram account, this dusky lady definitely has her fashion game bang on.
Athiya’s first magazine cover this year was for Harper’s Bride where she sported a ‘splattered ink’ ensemble from Designer Amit Aggarwal’s latest collection. The cover looked absolutely arty with the background of the cover being in a similar print as that of the dress. To add to the unconventional bride look, Athiya had a serpant statement cuff and not to miss the Dior bag, too.
Athiya also went up on the cover of Hello! Magazine with Salman Khan in a shimmery dress. Loved her regalia look in which she wore just a jumpsuit but absolutely looked like a stunner in it with the diamonds and emerald (from OM Jewellers) that she adorned with that deep neckline! In other words, elegance personified.
Another look from the same Hello! coverage had Athiya dressed in a Gauri & Nainika A-line gown. Looking at this gown we are wondering: are off-shoulders back? The neutral yellow looked absolutely fabulous on Athiya. She could give any Hollywood starlet a run for their money. With minimalistic jewellery we can definitely learn a thing or two on how to be glamorous.
Time for something just fresh off the stands! Athiya on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar (August issue). While everybody is crushing over geometrical prints, colour block, flowly silhouettes and loose fits Ms Slender legs just bowled us over with this flowy colour block dress on the cover. What’s the icing? It’s Salvatore Ferragamo. Beware ladies! This girl’s got style.
If you are thinking that Athiya is all about gowns and deep necklines, think again! Athiya Shetty is a true fashionista who can carry anything with style, including Indian wear. She was spotted in a white shimmering Anita Dongre lehenga at Arpita Khan’s wedding. The lehenga also had a pink net waistcoat (highlighting the lehenga) with short sleeves and a high neckline.
At the launch of her upcoming debut Hero Athiya looked like she’d just stepped out of a fairy-tale. Wonder how Athiya manages to look so different every time (no complaining though). This time, she looked extremely graceful in a Neha Taneja dress. The dress with its tulle skirt made her look like a dream and that floral belt definitely gave the outfit a very stylish look. With a black pair of pumps Athiya made sure not to take attention away from her dress.
Making fashion headlines at the recent Vogue Beauty awards was Miss Shetty. ‘Less is more’ and that’s exactly what Athiya conveyed with this look. With Dior earrings being her only piece of accessory and a Jimmy Choo clutch, Athiya looked every bit like a star in her mustard Gauri & Nainika gown. Don’t miss out the Bordeaux lips, too (perfect lipstick to balance out a mustard coloured dress).
We’ve beenloving the relaxed, casual and chambray style on her Instagram. She looks pretty and fashionable in all her moods – even if it’s goofy. Not to miss her selfie game being really strong ;).
Athiya is every bit a star in the making. Not long to go before she becomes the next Sonam Kapoor.
