At the launch of the third season of his popular TV talk show, Satyamev Jayate, Aamir Khan had mentioned that the new season, to air from September 21 onwards, will feature fellow celebrities talking about social causes dear to them. Though Vivek Oberoi, who’s known for his relentless social work, hasn’t received an invitation from Aamir he’d love to participate in the talk show.
Talking exclusively to Bollywood Celebden, Vivek, also a brand ambassador for the Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA), says, “I wasn’t aware about Bollywood’s involvement in this season of Satyamev Jayate. It’s a really good thing. It would be my honour to participate in the talk show and discuss important issues prevalent in our society.”
He is a fan of the show. “I never miss any episode,” admits Vivek, who recently announced his support to mega blood donation campaign to create awareness by collecting maximum possible units of blood across the country. “I salute the team of Satyamev Jayate for the kind of research they do and Aamir who conducts the show so well. With every season, the show has managed to achieve people’s love and support and I’m glad that more and more people have come forward to contribute in whatever capacity they can.”
Is Aamir listening?
