Abhishek Bachchan goes gaga about Shahrukh Khan while Jackie Shroff declares him the true badshah of Bollywood

One of the most awaited film of 2014 Happy New Year has finally released its trailer and by the looks of it, it is surely one of the grandest masala film that Bollywood has ever made. The film releases on the day of Diwali and we won’t be shocked if it breaks the record of Shahrukh’s 2013 blockbuster hit Chennai Express. The film also stars Deepika Padukone in the lead and is directed by Farah Khan. Just as the film the trailer launch was also a grand affair that shall be remembered forever. The film also stars Jackie Shroff, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah.

The trailer launch of Happy New Year saw Abhishek Bachchan express his happiness of working with the King Khan. He said, “SRK wanted to make Indias biggest film and we have come close to that with Happy New Year. Entire credit goes to Farah and Shahrukh. SRK has spent 90% of his energy pushing us promoting and no star of his stature would do that. We have made a quintessential Bollywood masala film that even Manmohan Desai would have been proud of”.

Jackie Shroff has been SRKs co-actor since King Uncle days and Jaggu dada went a bit nostalgic talking about the King Khan. Jackie said, “Shahrukh hasn’t changed a bit he has a big heart. He was always a very genuine and nice person and still is the same. When people address him as Badshah I feel he has worked very hard and earned it for himself”.

When there is Shahrukh Khan on stage automatically the attention diverts to him but the way SRK was making space for all actors to shine surely made him the great star that he is! No wonder Abhishek and Jackie could stop praising the King Khan.
