Watch Happy New Year trailer – Heist via dance and comedy

… And the year’s most awaited film Happy New Year is out, featuring Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah, Sonu Sood, Sarah-Jane Dias and Jackie Shroff, and as expected, the action comedy is full of masala, super appealing to the masses, just how a Farah Khan flick is supposed to be.

If you go by the tagline, “Iss Diwali… Todenge Taale India Waale”, you will know the story is based on some big robbery, with our hot-as-hell robbers cum dancers ready to do some big time stealing via dance and comedy. And of course, they will succeed. The promo opens to a casino in Dubai/Las Vegas, with our king posing with open arms.

The hit jodi, Shahrukh and Deepika are back to set the screen on fire with their drop dead gorgeous looks and sizzling chemistry. Shahrukh Khan’s different looks and a few romantic moments will leave you wanting for more, we bet. Abhishek and Boman are crazy. They are so frigging good with their cons and tricks, we can’t help but burst into splits at their silliest of jokes. Then we have the cute-face Vivaan Shah who definitely impresses us with his acting prowess, and of course there is Sonu Sood in full on action mode. Considering his previous track records, we are expecting big things from this hunk. There is some edgy, and interesting action to watch out for.

The movie looks slick, high on entertainment and elevated to new heights by its superb production values. Powered by the tall presence of Shahrukh and Deepika, the quirky antics of Abhi and Boman, and high octane action by Vivaan and Sonu, this trailer will take your breath away. There are some mind blowing urban dialogues, and the songs are the film’s highlight.

A complete paisa vasool film, Happy New Year has already won our hearts. It releases this Diwali, 24 October. The musical heist is directed by Farah Khan and produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment.
