P.K poster has been inspired by Quim Barreiros?

The moment Aamir Khan introduced his upcoming film, P.K’s poster on Twitter, his nude avatar became a hot topic of discussion. The actor received all kind of reviews and he also went on to become the butt of jokes on social networking sites. We also heard that a Kanpur court filed a case against the actor, director and producer, for promoting vulgarity and nudity. Now, adding fuel to the fire, looks like the P.K poster is not original. Oh no!

The poster is apparently inspired by Quim Barreiros, a Portuguese musician’s album cover from the 1970s. The original cover sees Quim standing nude holding a musical instrument, very similar to that of Aamir’s.

Well, if you ask us, besides being naked, we don’t see any other similarity here between the two. Also, if the poster fits the film well, then what’s the fuss all about. Let’s wait for the film, which hopefully is not a ripoff.

Meanwhile, P.K. also features Anushka Sharma, Sanjay Dutt and Sushant Singh Rajput. Buzz is that Aamir plays an alien, and will hit the screens on December 19.
