Ever since Amitabh Bachchan made his debut on television with the fiction show, Yudh, there have been all kinds of speculations regarding the show’s performance. While some reports suggest that the show’s late night time has affected the show’s TRPs, some gave mixed reviews after watching the first episode calling it ‘slow and complicated’.
At the launch of composer Shekhar Ravjiani’s latest single yesterday at a suburban multiplex, Amitabh Bachchan spoke briefly about Yudh. The megastar, who was the guest of honour and unveiled Shekhar’s single said, “The TV series has just begun and I feel it’s too early to come to a conclusion whether it’s doing well or not. We have finished shooting Yudh. I personally believe that an actor should never be satisfied with his work. I always look forward to do good work.”
“The television medium is different than films. A film’s merit is determined by its weekend box office collection but that’s not the case in television. I don’t understand television TRPs. As an actor my job is to attempt a role and rest is up to the audience. Agar aapko achcha laga toh aapko namaskar karenge, nahi achcha laga tab bhi namaskar karenge,” Big B said.
