Street food in India has got its own charm and actor Vidyut Jamwal got a taste of it recently when he visited to Jodhpur for his movie shoot. The fitness freak, we hear, indulged in the local street food delicacies like mirchi bhajiyas and jalebis around the market area.
Vidyut, who made his debut opposite John Abraham in Nishikant Kamat’s Force, believes in being fit but not at the cost of starving and losing weight. He believes in work out and has been learning martial arts since a young age. A source close to the actor insists, “He’s not very fussy when it comes to street food unlike most Bollywood actors. Being an army kid, he’s traveled and lived all over India including Rajasthan; hence he’s well versed with the area and food. Interestingly, it’s quite difficult to imagine someone as fit as Vidyut eat oily stuff and sweets.”
Vidyut informs, “Fitness is not about being thin or fat. What matters is being active and leading a balanced and healthy lifestyle. One should enjoy variety of food, but in moderation also ensuring to enjoy workout or play a sport regularly. If you keep yourself fit then nothing can stop you from having food like mirchi bhajiyas and jalebis like I did and still feel great about yourself.”
