Salman Khan seems deeply involved in the music of his next film, Kick. He has sung as many as three songs for the film – the Meet Bros and Anjaan composition ‘Hangover’ and the unplugged versions of ‘Tu hi tu’ and ‘Jumme ki raat.’
At the launch of yet another song from the film, ‘Devil yaar na mile,’ the actor was all gung ho about this number too. He even compared his co-star Nargis Fakri (in a special appearance) to “Parveen Babi” (he has compared the film’s heroine Jacqueline to Zeenat Aman earlier).
When we asked him to choose the better dancer between Nargis or Jacqueline, Salman hedged, “Nargis dances really well and has got a good style. Sajid (Nadadwala, the director) and I both mutually decided to have Nargis for this song. However, there is no dance competition here and Jacqueline dances very well too.”
However, the star revealed that dancing to the song had not been easy for him, thanks to the ultra-tight pants he wears in the song. “Dancing was very difficult, especially in the pants which we brought from Poland. I didn’t want to waste the costume, but it would take me half an hour to wear these pants and Nargis would make fun of me.”
Displaying a glimpse of his famous wit, Salman picked three notoriously clumsy dancers when asked to name his dancing idols from the industry. Salman deadpanned: “Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Sunny Deol.”
He also refused to commit to the buzz that he would not be hosting ‘Bigg Boss’ this year. Salman said, “They are working on the dates, there is a possibility and there is not as well; let’s see.”
But asked to choose an alternate host for the show, he quipped, “Shah Rukh Khan.”
