Indo Brazilian singer, songwriter & columnist Carlyta Mouhini along with Rakhi Sawant spearheaded a brilliant cause to spread awareness of world sport Football by heading Ring Football with the underprivileged kids, the event organized was by Lourdes Sports Committee.
Carlyta Mouhini & Rakhi Sawant had a gala time playing football this monsoon heading two different teams. Carlyta looked a pro in football & displayed some great moves as she has grown up with the sport and is extremely passionate about it whereas Rakhi a novice tried to learn the sport but looked thoroughly happy playing the sport and her spirit for the cause is commendable an inquestionable. The duo chatted away with the kids post the match and discussed the nuances of the sport.

Carlyta Mouhini who has been actively involved in supporting women empowerment besides her successful singer career & an ardent lover of the sport football has gone a step further to create awareness about the sport in Mumbai by teaming up with Rakhi Sawant through leading the Ring Football, a one hour event that was played between 2 teams comprising of an all girls team & another with the underprivileged kids.
Carlyta Mouhini is ably supporting the Football Sports Awareness project for the generation next in India organized by the Lourdes Sports Committee (LSC) which is a part of The Church of our Lady of Lourdes, Orlem with the objective to provide a platform for local talent to groom them to the highest level of sporting success & getting the community together through sports.
Carlyta Mouhini quips, “This is bliss…rains…football…my stress buster.. I’m glad Rakhi ably supported me for this cause & came forward to spread awareness about football in Mumbai. My ultimate aim is to have Indian team play football at the Worldcup.”
