Karan Johar urges Narendra Modi to remove Section 377

Filmmaker Karan Johar has urged the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi to remove Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code, thus giving the LGBT in our country the right to dignity, privacy and equality.

Taking to the social networking site Twitter, Johar asked his followers to sign a petition that was put up by Talaash director Reema Katgi, so that the PM would wipe away Sec 377 from the constitution.

Karan tweeted,:“Cast creed color or your orientation cannot and should not alienate you….support it if you believe that…”.
