Boman Irani’s son Kayoze as a cross dresser

Kayoze Irani will be seen in Manish Jha’s upcoming fantasy thriller, The Legend of Michael Mishra starring Arshad Warsi, Aditi Rao Hydari and also his father, Boman Irani. Looks like male actors donning cross dressers in movies have become a norm lately, what with Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Ram Kapoor did the same for Sajid Khan’s Humshakals and now it’s Kayoze’s turn!

It is believed that Kayoze needed to be dressed as a woman for one of the scenes in the film. This is the first time Kayoze was attempting a cross dressing endeavor among the many firsts he’s had with this film. A source informs, “While initially the plan was to have Kayoze dress in a different outfit, the film’s producer Kishor Arora and director Manish thought it would look incredible to have them dress in same look. Hence four days prior to shooting the scene, the film’s stylist was asked to replicate Aditi’s look in a larger size for Kayoze. While shooting on set, Aditi asked her own team to help Kayoze put his entire look together, from make up to hair.”

Talking about donning a woman’s avatar, Kayoze says, “I’m Arshad Warsi’s right-hand man in the film and dressed exactly like Aditi so he can rehearse his lines on me first before proclaiming his love to Aditi’s character. It’s a confidence boosting exercise.”
