Karan Johar paid Rs.11 for ‘Bombay Velvet’

Karan Johar is one filmmaker who is friends with almost everyone in the film industry. He is known for his helping nature, the most recently being, Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet, where in Karan plays a negative role in the film.

We hear that the filmmaker turned actor was keen on working for free and so he charged a sum of Rs. 11 just as a token of their friendship and appreciation..

Bombay Velvet marks Johar’s Bollywood debut as an actor, where his character named Kaizad Khambatta is an evil businessman.
