Though his sex comedies franchise like Kya Super Kool Hain Hum (KSKHH) and Grand Masti (GM) have done well at the box office, Riteish Deshmukh felt that there was nothing more to offer to sex comedies, especially post the success of Grand Masti and therefore he made it clear that he won’t accept an offer with a similar script.
Riteish had also admitted to have crossed all the boundaries with Grand Masti and had consciously made up his mind of not doing any sex comedy. Sometime back, his KSKHH costar Tusshar hinted at Riteish being part of the third installment of the franchise. And now it seems Riteish has finally accepted that sex comedies work big time at the box office and staying away from the genre will be his loss.
During the promotion of Ek Villain, when we asked him whether he’s open for sex comedies, the actor said, “I would love to do comedies. If the script is different and interesting then I don’t mind trying my hand at another adult comedy. Frankly, I don’t want to repeat the same things again on screen.”
