Style Files: Parineeti Chopra at IIFA 2014

Going through pictures of everything that happened at IIFA, I stumbled upon one picture of Parineeti Chopra at the ceremony. I was quite surprised to see the wise choice of outfit and color she picked for the grand day.

In a Nikhil Thampi dress, Parineeti Chopra at IIFA 2014 looked extrememly cute. The lady who is known for taking risks did the same this year too and we kinda think she did a fine job. The color, a bright peach, looks nice.

However, Pari still needs to work on her weight! She has lost much weight but unfortunately not so much that she can be called hot!

The Nikhil Thampi gown had a very high slit, revealing some skin and unfortunately fat as well. One can clearly see the bulge on her waistline. Also, the dress looked quite misfit at the top, making the actress look huge!! She really needs to lose those love handles.

She also shook a leg on stage with co-star Siddharth Malhotra and although she is cute, she looked fat. Methinks, she really should have chose something that covers her entire body and that could hide that little bulge there.

Her previous appearances were fabulous and we know Pari is going to take a while but she too is going to be a fashionista like sister Priyanka.

What a joke. The writer should find a new way to pay her bills and then go to the local opticians.

I cannot help but feel ashamed to read this article.
As women, we put enough pressure to conform and distort our bodies to society’s view on what is considered beautifully. This is from bleaching our faces with harmful chemicals and killing our bodies from not eating enough food.

Parineeti is amazing and is truly an inspiration. I hope she never looses her weight because firstly she is NOT fat and secondly because she gives women like myself a realistic goal.

You calling her ‘fat’ may just be a personal opinion, but it is an opinion that is very personal to me. I consider myself a healthy individual however if Parineeti is labelled as ‘fat’, makes me think that I am obese. Why do you always tear up and seek to destroy the confidence of women. We have enough problem as it is.

Parineeti, you are gorgeous and most definitely sexy! I loved your performance and your dress! I know you will go far and in my opinion You have already proved yourself to be a ‘fashionista’ and a diva! I love you just the way you are!

It baffles me the kind of negativity featured on this page regarding Ms. Chopra. Is this what this website supports, the shaming of women and their bodies? The writer has no basis calling Parineeti fat, she looks gorgeous and the aforementioned “love handles” are ridiculous and totally non-existent to someone not scraping the barrel for something to criticize. I like this actress and think the pictures of her look stunning. She is hot in my opinion because she is beautiful, not because she weighs a certain amount, but because there is much to appreciate.

What constitutes as beauty? Is it a size 2 or 4 figure, or does it matter more that the person is actually beautiful? I’ve seen skinny girls who just look malnourished and sick. Society says this is what all women should aspire to, but for some it just doesn’t fit their figure. I sincerely wish celebden gets a new writer for this type of news or at the very least has a more positive message to send out to girls/women reading their news because what was written in this article is repulsive. More articles like this will make me stop visiting the site.

I agree with you judy, the writter has no right to pari fat. if the writter doesn’t have anything nice to say, he/she should keep their mouths shut.
