Esha Gupta: “I keep getting compliments for my hour-glass figure.”

My secrets for a perfect body: Workout by eating every two hours … the more regularly you eat, the more your body burns calories. My fitness philosophy: Fitness is not about being fat or thin for me; it’s about confidence. If I am not fit, I am not healthy and I feel very underconfident and I think I am not looking good.

My diet: I am a vegetarian so I eat almost everything but I don’t have any dairy products because I am lactose intolerant. Also no wheat, no bell peppers and no oranges for me.

My fitness regimen: Weight training, pilates and swimming.

For my film Humshakals I had to: Be on a diet and follow a workout regimen for the bikini look.

I love training: Every part of my body because I know what is required in which area.

My best body feature: I really love my waist.

The best compliment I have received for my body: I keep getting compliments for my hour-glass figure.

I started exercising after looking at: Miss India 2007.

My take on the relationship between fitness and health: Fitness is a necessity for lifelong health.

When I don’t work out, I feel: Lazy and moody. I don’t feel happy that day.

In my opinion, the Bollywood actress with the fittest body is: Deepika Padukone … hands down.

In my opinion, the Bollywood actor with the fittest body is: Ranveer Singh … he is fabulous.

My fitness tip: Drink lots of water, eat right and make sure you get at least aminimum of seven hours of sleep a day.
