Aditya Chopra is Bollywood’s asset. He has contributed much to the film industry and has always been nothing less than boon. His films have made it to the top and has made money as well. The actor has several feathers in his cap.
Aditya Chopra began his career as an assistant director to films produced at his home production, Yash Raj Films. He got his first major break with the glorious Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayengi. The success of that film took Aditya’s career to a whole new level.
After DDLJ, Aditya Chopra directed Mohabbatein which turned out to be another major hit. For a long time he stayed away from the director’s seat and turned to script writing which he found pretty interesting. He delivered hit dialogues for films like Dil To Pagal Hai, Mujhse Dosti Karoge!, Veer-Zaara, Bunty Aur Babli, Salaam Namaste, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, New York, Ek Tha Tiger, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Dhoom 3.
His next directorial stint was with the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in the year 2008 after which he did not direct again. His home production Yash Raj Films is the biggest and most successful production house in Bollywood. As per the contract, every new comer who gets a chance to debut with YRF has to sign a contract of working in three films with the same banner before saying yes to other filmmakers.
After the death of his father Yash Chopra in the year 2012, Aditya went on to take over the functions of the entire business. While his family is always by his side, Aditya has decided not let the absence of his father effect the production house.
Aditya Chopra is now married to actress Rani Mukherjee, whom he was dating for quite some years. He has been the center of some major controversies for a long time, some professionally and some personally.
Nevertheless, he is an inspiration to several actors, directors, writers and producers. Aditya Chopra is indeed a very hard working man and we wish him good luck in all his endeavours.
