Music review of The Xpose

The film boasts of some brilliant music, thanks to the presence of two talented music composers and singers Himesh Reshammiya and Yo Yo Honey Singh. Although the songs sound like rip offs of so many other Bollywood songs, they still seem pleasant to the ear. Here is the music review of The Xpose.

Dard Dilo Ko

Sung by Mohammed Irfan, this song is a slow number and comes on your ‘sad’ playlist. The music is given by Himesh Reshammiya himself and is picturised on him and the actress Zoya Afroz.

Pathetic lyrics and a familiar tune is what this song holds in store. The beats are catchy until you hear the lady sing Ice cream khaungi, Kashmir jaaungi blah blah.

The music of this song Sheeshe Ka Samundar is given by Himesh Reshammiya himself. The brilliant lyrics of Sameer Anjaan and the magical voice of Ankit Tiwari make this song sound good.

The song is different compared to Himesh Reshammiya’s Aap Ka Suroor. We have Yo Yo Honey Honey Singh lend his voice alongside Himesh and singer Shalmali Kolgade.

Catch me if you can happens to be the theme song of the film. You have a frantic Himesh singing something faster than the speed of light along with a host of other big singers.

A personal favorite from this playlist, Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara is a soulful melody which has Honey Singh rapping the first few lines and then the song is taken over by Himesh Reshammiya.
