The American model turned Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri, who will be seen next in Varun Dhawan’s Main Tera Hero has learnt Hindi to dub for the film in her own voice. The bombshell who made her debut in the 2011 hit musical film Rockstar, says despite not knowing Hindi, she didn’t face any difficulty in the film industry.
“There is no less offers because of my language problem. If I get a script, I understand it when I read it,” said the actress.
“You get time to sit with your co-actors and prepare, but to improvise in Hindi is tough. (Initially) I had to stick to my lines, but now I can understand and that’s a great progress,” added the actress.
Talking about her experience learning Hindi, she says it was hard but she is proud of herself for achieving it. “It was hard, but it was fun. I am proud of myself because it’s difficult. It’s not easy to learn a new language,” she added.
Varun Dhawan, who is making a film appearance for the second time in this film, says he did the film because of emotional reasons.
His father David Dhawan is the helmer of the film and Varun says it is a blessing to get an opportunity to work with him. “I did this film for emotional reason than commercial. This is my dad’s 43rd film and my second film. To work with an established director like him in the early stage of my career is a blessing,” Varun said.
Main Tera Hero is to be released on April 4th.
