If one must learn to celebrate the festival of colors, Holi, then they ought to take a lesson or two from our Bollywood celebrities. We take you back into time, to one of the 1990’s Holi party, where Hindi cinema’s then budding superstar, Shahrukh Khan along with his wife Gauri Khan, celebrates the festival of colors with great pomp and show.
Besides the cutie couple, there were many known faces, including director Subash Ghai, Chunkey Pandey, Monica Bedi, Anu Kapoor, Rakesh Roshan, cricketer Vinod Kambali, and Ramesh Sippy. But the heart of the party was obviously Shahrukh and Gauri, who seemed to be in high spirits.
This looks so awesome! One can see true happiness between the couple. No need for holding hands, no gazing into each other eyes, no kisses and no trying at all. True happiness and love is unspoken. Just look at the two so into each other. They are dancing like there’s no tomorrow! We have definitely not seen Gauri Khan this carefree. As for SRK, too adorable. People change as they grow older, more responsibilities, more experience; at least they can look back at all the fun they had. I’m sure they still have fun of a different kind.
We have rarely seen this side of SRK, no? Looking at him dance and enjoy like never before, we are guessing Holi is his favorite festival. However, with time, everything has changed. Today, King Khan’s views on the festival is totally different.
In a press conference recently, the superstar revealed, “My kids will be playing Holi. I don’t usually play as I’m not a big fan of colors. I even experience trouble while filming a Holi scene. As a kid, I used to enjoy Holi. We used to play in Delhi.”
Meanwhile, Watch the first couple of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan and Gauri celebrate Holi as they break into a casual, happy dance.
