Top 5 Bollywood Holi songs

The festival of fun, frolic and lots of colour is here! Yes, it’s HOLI… From ducking the flying gulals to playing hide and seek with buckets full of coloured water, this festival literally brings out the child in us. In Bollywood, our celebs love partying, and in style. And Holi just gives them a perfect excuse to let down their hair, throw off their heels, slip into anything white and have a blast. Holi in Bollywood gets bigger, better and happier every year. Here are our top 5 Bollywood Holi songs which will assuredly make you want to get up and dance.

Let’s Play Holi

Do Me A Favour Let’s Play Holi is from the film ‘Waqt: The Race Against Time’. It’s a fun-filled and catchy track which sees Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra getting all naughty with each other.

Balam Pichkari

Who doesn’t know this number? It’s from the film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, which sees an intoxicated Ranbir Kapoor splashing colors and throwing water on his friends and Deepika Padukone clad in shorts looking sexy as ever, indulging equally in the festive mood. Looking at them, one can hardly stop oneself from getting drenched in colors, baangh and water.

Lahu Mooh Lag Gaya

Ditching the sexy shorts, Deepika slips into a lehenga choli in the song Lahu Mooh Lag Gaya from the film Ram Leela. There so much color and romance in this number. Deepika and Ranveer sizzles to the dhol beats in the song.

Tum Tak

‘Tum Tak’ from the film Raanjhanaa is an excellent love ballad that has so many shades that it is difficult to classify. There is a part in the song where Sonam plays Holi with Dhanush.

Jashn-e-Ishqa is from the film Gunday and is high on energy, with powerful renditions by Javed Ali and Shadab Faridi. The song is about the celebration of brotherhood, friendship and love. A part of the song sees the duo play wild holi.

Enne Unne

This track is from the film Issaq, a proper holi number with lots of naughtiness and ‘chhed chaad’. The music has lots of rustic flavor and Hindustani instruments.
