Some actors are a brilliant combination of talent and good looks. They often go unnoticed. But thank good heavens, they leave us with some good films to remember for a life time.
Abhay Deol is one such versatile actor. He is a power house of talent and is young and handsome. He entered Bollywood nine years ago and trust me, Abhay Deol has groomed himself so well over the years.
His first film was in the year 2005 titled Socha Na Tha.His performance was much appreciated and he was quick to catch the attention of film makers.
Abhay Deol is the first cousin of Bollywood big shots Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. Initially, he was confused to be one of the brothers of the Deol family. He looks also kind of similar.
Abhay Deol’s first few films weren’t great at all. He had to struggle hard to stay in the lime light. However, his career took a U turn when he decided to do the film Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!. The film was a success and Abhay was once again all over the news.
Then came the best film of Abhay’s life, Dev.D. A modern representation of the age old Devdas, this film was critically appreciated and Abhay was termed promising.
As time passed by, Abhay made sure he took up fewer projects but strong ones. His films include Aisha, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Shanghai, Ranjhanaa, Ahista Ahista, Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd., Ek Chalis Ki Last Local, Manorama Six Feet Under etc.
He was one of the playback singers for the song Senorita in the film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Abhay’s best co-star is Kalki Koechlin. Their chemistry is simply superb.
Abhay was last seen in the recent film One By Two which starred his real life sweetheart Preeti Desai.
Abhay Deol is one person who knows how to stay in the news with absolutely no publicity stunts. He is indeed a gem of an actor. We wish him luck in all of his future endeavours.
