Rakhi Sawant, the undoubted queen of controversies, celebrated Women’s Day in her own unique way. Instead of throwing a mega bash or going for a function, the controversial babe spent the day with slim dwellers.
If our sources are to go by, Rakhi planned to celebrate this special day with her real fans and admirers. She distributed food, gifts and 10,000 dustbins to slum people to protect Mumbai from all diseases and pollution. While talking to a newspaper Rakhi said, “Being a woman it’s my responsibility to be with needy people. Thus, I have stepped forward for this initiative and it’s not a political stunt.”
Not too long back, this very babe announced her plans to foray the world of politics. She even confessed that she has been trying to keep herself away from controversies because she wants to join politics.
Meanwhile, Actor-filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar Sunday announced he will contest the Lok Sabha election from Mumbai North-West as a Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) candidate.
“I got a call from (MNS chief) Raj (Thackeray), and I am very happy today,” said Manjrekar. He said “this is the right time” to plunge into politics.
