Salman Khan to fulfill promise of giving free education to the poor?

Salman Khan has done it again, this time he has joined hands with a system that has more systematic approach towards helping fellow human beings. Salman Khan not so long back, made a promise to professor-turned-social worker, Sandeep Desai.

Salman Khan had offered his support to Desai to build schools in rural areas to help poor children get quality but free education. A certain section of media had reported that Salman forgot about it. But now, according to latest developments the Dabangg actor contacted Desai on fulfilling the promise. It is Salman’s charity trust Being Human that contacted Mr.Sandeep Desai for the philanthropic service.

Desai explains, “I was recently contacted by Salman’s NGO and I have submitted my presentation on the school that I wish to build. Now they will look into it and they have promised to get back to me by next week.” A source close to Mr. Desai informed us, “Salman’s charity trust want to see how the funds from the trust are going to be used by Mr Desai and Desai had already done a presentation for the trust.

Now the trust is going take a keen look at the presentation and going to study it carefully before it takes a step to support it. Salman’s last release Jai Ho has a philanthropic theme and its message was to help fellow human beings by taking the right stand for justice.
