Saif Ali Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, who are currently busy shooting for Sajid Khan’s upcoming comedy film Humshakals recently canned a song from the film. What is interesting here is that the cast and the crew of the film worked thrice as hard as normal because the lead actors had to shoot for the song in three different avatars.
“Sajid recreated London’s South Hall at Mumbai’s Capitol Cinema and turned it into a snazzy desi bar and shot the lavish song. The song is choreographed by Ganesh Acharya and is composed by Himesh Reshammiya. It is a fun, energetic dance number but what is really interesting is that it features all three actors and their triple avatars,” says a source close to the film’s production.
“He hasn’t let the Himmatwala debacle pull him down. He’s trying all kinds of stuff and this sequence is going to make everyone fall off from their chairs laughing,” adds the source.
Meanwhile, the film’s producer Vashu Bhagnani was mum about the topic when asked about. All he said was “I have full faith in what Sajid has conceived and it’s coming along well.”
Reportedly, a VFX team from Hollywood was flown in to Mumbai to work on the song and the special effects.
