She started her career in Bollywood with the film Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya in the year 1997. All this was right after she won the Miss World pageant in 1994. Her beauty and talent caught the attention of ace film makers and soon Aishwarya became the most sort after actress in Bollywood.

Her first break through performance was in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s grand film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. The film won her several awards and led her straight into the league of top notch actresses.

Aishwarya Rai not only made it big in Bollywood but also went international. Films like Bride & prejudice, Mistress Of Spices, The Pink Panther 2 etc made her an international celebrity. Her most talked about films are Taal, Devdas, Guru, Dhoom 2, Jodhaa Akbar and Guzaarish. She was and is and will be Bollywood’s prettiest babe. But…

Aishwarys Rai tied the knot to Abhishek Bachchan in the year 2007. Ever since they were together, the duo have appeared in a couple of films, most of which were pretty successful.

It was in the year 2011 that this pretty lady gave birth to a beautiful doll, Aaradhya. Its been close to two and a half years that she hasn’t returned to the big screen. All of her attention is only on raising her baby girl.

Her last film Guzaarish was released in 2010. Aishwarys’s only appearance on screen was in a series of Prestige advertisements which featured Abhishek Bachchan as well. Apparently, Aishwarya has been roped in for Mani Ratnam’s next film. This will be Ash’s comeback movie.
