Preity Zinta, who co-owns the IPL team Kings X1 Punjab along with her ex Ness Wadia, says they focussed on getting more Indian players; while auctioning for players this year. The actress was pretty happy with the players that her team got and addressed the media twice at the IPL players auction in Bangalore.
“I’m very happy with my team. We knew exactly who we wanted and we’re glad to have got a lot of them. Shawne Punjab is back and he’s our boy,” said Preity.
And added, “Last time, a lot of people said there are hardly any Indian players in the Punjab team. So, we decided on taking on our boys.”
When asked about the complete list of players, she said she can’t reveal that as of now.
