Remember Khaakee, the 2004 film revolving around the police and crime starring Big B? The sequel for that is soon going be made, and this time, it will be Tusshar Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan sans the rest of the cast of Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Aishwarya Rai.
Incidentally, the son of the producer Keshu Ramsey of the original film, Aryeman will be producing the sequel. Talking about how he is really moved to take this up after his father’s death, here’s what Aryeman says, “I had been thinking of producing a film for a while now. And what better than a follow-up to my dad’s Khakee?”
Nothing about the film is confirmed yet and Aryeman is yet to talk to Amitabh Bachchan about it. He says that Akshay, Ajay and Aish cannot be a part of the film as they all died in the original but Tusshar might be retained. We do hope that Aryeman finds the right cast for his police drama which otherwise may not do all that well.
