Some people age with grace and here is an example. Amrita Singh who turns 56 this year is a very talented actress. She is someone who’s potential is surprising and who’s skills just take by a sweet shock.

At the age of 25, Amrita Singh tasted success with the film Betaab in which she starred opposite Sunny Deol. Her films were very successful and led Amrita directly into the league of Bollywood’s top notch actresses of the 80s.

Amrita has some exceptional roles to her credit. Apart from being the lead actress, Amrita was also a supporting actress and played negative roles in quite some films. Amrita Singh is an award winning actress.

Life was going just perfect until the year 1991 when Amrita decided to marry Saif Ali Khan who was a number of years younger to her. At the peak of her career, she decided to step down and stay home to look after her family. It was in the year 1993 that Amrita Singh completely stopped working in the film industry.

Her marriage to actor Saif Ali Khan was short lived. The two parted ways after being together for 13 years. Saif and Amrita have two children Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan.

She made her come-back with the film 23rd March 1931: Shaheed and went on to act in films like Kalyug and Kajraare. Her latest film was Aurangzeb which released in 2013.

Her films include Sunny, Saaheb, Mard, Karamdaata, Khudgarz, Kabzaa, Agnee, Ilaaka, Jaadugar, Krodh, C.I.D., Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Suryavanshi, Aaina, Dus Kahaniyaan etc.
