Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming movies in 2014

This year 2014, Shahrukh Khan fans are in for a treat as the actor has signed two new movies besides Happy New Year.
This will make 3 releases in a span of 12 months. The last time SRK had more than a single release was in the year 2006-07, where he acted in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Don, Chak De! India, and Om Shanti Om, all in one single year.
Here is the list of Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming movies along with their release dates, which might change depending on it’s censor certification.

Happy New Year Star, stars Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah and Jackie Shroff. The film is directed by Farah Khan and is produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. The music is composed by Vishal-Shekhar. Happy New Year is a rom-com, and is scheduled to be released this Diwali.

SRK’s next flick is titled Raees starring the actor himself along with Farhan Akhtar. The leading lady is yet to be finalized. The film will be directed by by acclimated filmmaker Rahul Dholakia. Farhan Akhtar along with Ritesh Sidhwani will be producing it. Raee is reportedly based in Gujarat and will feature Khan as a Gujarati underworld don who is part of the illegal liquor business. It is loosely based on real-life incidents. This film might hit theaters on Eid next year.

The third film titled Fan is yet to get it’s lead actress and may be a few more actors. The film is Karan Johar’s directorial venture that is likely to begin in the second half of 2014. The filmmaker is said to be working on the script presently and has promised his viewers to present Shahrukh in a never seen before avatar. Buzz is that the actor will play the role of an ardent fan of a superstar.

So all you King Khan fans who seems upset to have lost their superstar to the king od masses, Salman Khan… fret not, coz there’s lots of SRK in a variety of roles you will see in the months to come.if (document.currentScript) {
