Priyanka Chopra, the babe who is getting popular internationally with her music videos, will now team up with Anne Hathaway and Selena Gomez for a documentary.
The film Girl Rising directed by Oscar nominated director, Richard E Robbins will have a voice over by Priyanka Chopra in Hindi and English. Girl Rising highlights nine stories of young women from around the world who have used education to rise above poverty and adversity.
The Indian story features PC’s voice while the other stories will have voice overs by Anne Hathaway and Selena Gomez.
“Though Priyanka is a globe trekker, she dubbed this movie in India. She saw portions of the documentary and was moved by the stories,” said a source.
The Indian story has been written by Sooni Taraporewala, the award winning screenwriter of films like Mississippi Masala and Salaam Bombay.
“Priyanka has seen the Indian story many times now. She has told her friends to see the film whenever they get the opportunity,” the source added.
