Though it’s very common for a movie to get postponed from its initial release dates, its rare to see movies release ahead of what was planned initially. Satish Kaushik’s upcoming movie Gang Of Ghosts too is one of such movies which has been advanced by a couple of weeks.
“This way the film would also make the most of school/college exams that would be over around the same timeline. Since the film is a crazy comedy with some funny and lovable ghosts being the central protagonists, one can well imagine the kind of fun which is in store for the youngsters,” informs a source attached to the film.
The movie boasts of an ensemble cast which comprises of Sharman Joshi and Mahie Gill along with newcomer Meera Chopra making her Bollywood debut, Gangs of Ghosts also features Anupam Kher, Parambrata (of Kahaani fame) and Saurabh Shukla in key roles. A large supporting cast comprising of Rajpal Yadav, Chunkey Pandey, Yashpal Sharma, Asrani, Vijay Verma, Rajesh Khattar and J.Brandon Hill further makes this tale about the ‘occupants of a haunted house’ interesting.
The movie was earlier supposed to arrive alongside Bhoothnath Returns, hence the clash was labeled as the ‘clash of the ghosts‘, considering the fact that Amitabh Bachchan plays a ghost in the film. And now that the movie Gang Of Ghosts will be arriving on screens early, Amitabh’s ghosts from Bhoothnath can rest in peace, pun intended!
