One by Two Movie Review
Cast: Abhay Deol, Preeti Desai
Director: Devika Bhagat
Story by: Devika Bhagat
Why? The only thing that kept fisting my mind consistently after watching the movie was WHY did anyone even bother by starring or directing or investing in such a movie? The movie is basically a bad product of boredom.
Here’s how it goes – Amit Sharma (Abhay Deol and Samaira Patel (Preeti Desai) are leading two varied lives and the only common thing between them is failure. Their hopes of settling down in life are shattered and they’re out on a journey to change their fate. What you ask? Amit’s lost love and Samaira’s dance competition. The story continues to bore you until it hits it’s peak when Amit and Samaira are drawn closer to each other.
The script of the film is very sloppy and loose. You basically not find a proper direction where the movie wants to go as it’s constantly stuck in it’s consequences rather than moving forward. Every sequence and scene is absolutely flat, leaving us with no emotion or reaction apart from yawns and the restlessness to either peep into your watches.
Performances: The talented Abhay Deol is mercilessly wasted in this film and it seriously makes me wonder WHY did he do this film? Preeti Desai doesn’t impress at all apart from her good-looks. She probably needs to join some acting classes in case she wants a big break in the industry.
The Bottom Line: Abhay Deol’s films have always oozed quality but this one disappoints to the bone. Don’t watch it. But if you’ve already watched it – I feel you bro.
