UK based music artist Arjun roped in by T-Series

Arjun Coomaraswamy, the young music artist from UK, is known for his remixes and mash-ups of popular Bollywood songs over the last couple of years. His channel on YouTube has more than 30 million views. When T-Series saw that many of its songs like Tum Hi Ho, Teri Meri and Chammak Challo were among the remixes, the music giant saw potential in Arjun and roped him in.

“T-Series has always believed in developing and nurturing new talent and has played a pivotal role in giving to our industry some of the well known Singers of the last two decades. The paradigm shift in the way the music is consumed or promoted now days with major focus being digital medium, Arjun’s style of music will certainly appeal to the young audiences globally who are the biggest music consumers online. We are planning to release both his Hindi remix album and R&B/Pop album this year with extensive promotions,” said Neeraj Kalyan, president of T-Series.

Post winning the ‘Best Urban Act’ at the Asian Music Awards in 2012, Arjun has performed all over the world and also sang for South Indian films. He’s a prominent figure in the UK Asian music scene and with his blend of eastern and western sounds, he became a major hit among the young Asians all over the world.
