Shruti Hassan and her journey in Bollywood

Shruti Hasssan might not have had a grand entry into Bollywood but she definitely makes her present felt in Tinsel Town. Daughter of South superstar Kamal Hassan, Shruti decided to move to Bollywood instead of focussing completely on Southern films.

Not many of her films are successful but Shruti has some exceptional roles to her credit. Also, Shruti is a playback singer and has song some wonderful numbers for her films.

Luck

This was Shruti Hassan’s debut film. Luck also stars Sanjay Dutt and Imran Khan. The film didn’t really do great at the Box Office. Shruti Hassan also made her debut in singing with the track Aazma — Luck Is The Key for the same film.

Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji

This was Shruti’s second film and a multistarrer. The starcast of the film includes Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Omi Vaidya, and Shazahn Padamsee. A romantic comedy, Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji saw Shruti opposite Emraan Hashmi playing the role of a girl next door.

Ramaiya Vastavaiya

Ramaiya Vastavaiya is the remake of a succeful Telugu film. Shruti plays the role of an adorable girl-next-door. The film did well at the Box Office and Shruti managed to grab eyeballs for her performance in the film this time.

D-Day

Unlike her previous roles, this time Shruti Hassan plays a very different character this time. D-Day is an action thriller and has been recieved well by critics. Shruti doesn’t have a full fledged role in the film, though.
