Salman Khan’s Jai Ho, directed by Sohail Khan, is all set for a big release on 24th January. It is one of the much awaited movies as Sallu Bhai didn’t have a release in 2012 and the trailer is promising. Jai Ho is the story of a common man on a mission to change the society.
Post movies like Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Chennai Express and Dhoom 3, which redefined box office collections and set new records; will Jai Ho make it big? The songs of the film and the trailers have been received quite well and Samlan Khan is promoting the movie well enough. Besides, with the kind of fan base he has, it is bound to be a hit.
His good friend Aamir Khan -whose Dhoom 3 became the highest grossing Bollywood movie ever- is promoting the film extensively on his twitter. The rapport that Salman Khan and Aamir Khan share is an excellent one; to the extent that Salman Khan took a potshot at Aamir Khan’s catchphrase ‘O Teri’ at a recent event.
A few days back, when his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri spoke about a film (O Teri) he is producing, Salman laughed and asked him if he had taken Aamir Khan’s permission. “Salman added to the team that he will call Aamir later and ask him for the rights and permissions. He attributed that the phrase would indefinitely be a patented word by Aamir. Both Salman and Aamir are known to share an excellent rapport in personal and professional space. Their comradeship in the industry is known to one and all,” said a source.
Earlier, Salman Khan had advertised Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 by sporting the bowler hat on his show Bigg Boss 7. With Dhoom 3 becoming the biggest hit ever, Aamir Khan is on a thanking spree; by promoting Salman Khan’s film; by throwing a party for the lesser known people who contributed to the film like the exhibitors, etc.
Looks like Sallu Bhai has a lot of support!
