Biwi No.1
The comedy film Biwi No.1 is a remake of the Tamil film Sathi Leelavathi. The original film starred Kamal Hassan in the lead role. The film is directed by David Dhawan. The Tamil version dates back to 1995. Both the films were did extremely well.


Salman Khan woos his audience with his comic timing in the film Judwaa. The film’s leading ladies are Karisma Kapoor and South heroine Rambha. Judwaa is a story of twins whose lives become a mess. The film is the remake of the Telugu film Hello Brother.


Wanted is the South Indian remake of the superhit Telugu film Pokiri. The film is about a cop who busts the underworld rowdies by becoming one among them. Salman Khan is paired opposite Ayesha Takia in the film. The original film stars Ileana D’Cruz in the lead role.


Remade from a Telugu film bearing the same name, Ready was one of Salman’s best films. A romantic-comedy, topped with a little action is what the film is all about. The leading lady of the film is Asin. The original lead in the Telugu film was Bollywood’s babe, Genelia D’Souza.

Bodyguard did extremely well at the Box Office. The film stars Kareena Kapoor opposite Salman Khan. The film is a remake of the successful Malayalam blockbuster Bodyguard. The Hindi version went on to be the best film of the year 2011.


Jai Ho is the remake of the hit Telugu film Stalin. The film was a massive success when it released down South. It is yet to be seen if Jai Ho will recieve the same appreciation as the former. The heroine is newcomer Daisy Shah. Jai Ho was originally titled Mental.
