The two power-houses of Bollywood Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan have done it again! The duo who turned from being utter foes to becoming friends at Katrina Kaif’s birthday party six years ago have been spotted hugging one more time. This one happened when the two super stars were on stage at the Star Guild Awards last night, that Salman Khan was anchoring and where Shahrukh Khan won an award. We saw a somewhat similar thing happening in 2013, when the warring duo shared a polite but warm hug at politician Baba Siddique’s iftar party.
Now that the duo have hugged once again out in the public, is it safe to say that both the actors have ditched their issues and have become pals? If yes, then we can tell you that the duo can be seen shaking their legs for a song in SRK’s upcoming movie Happy New Year, directed by Farah Khan and co-starring Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, Abhishek Bachchan and Vivaan Shah.
You might well be aware that Farah Khan managed to do a feat which is very rare, she managed to rope in 31 cinestars to come together and do a gig for a song in her last collaboration as a director with SRK and Deepika Padukone in Om Shanti Om. And now there is a heavy possibilty that she will do the same in her film Happy New Year, with a refreshed list of celebs of course!
Meanwhile, the director of the movie, Farhan Khan has come out in the open and stated that only one name came to her mind when she was thinking abut the female lead for the movie, it was none other than Deepika Padukone.
Farah says Deepika leaves her impressed with her all-rounder quality. “I’m so happy that Deepika is in ‘Happy New Year’,” Farah told us on phone from Mumbai.
