Yesterday, we had reported about Emraan Hashmi’s 4-year-old son being diagnosed with a malignant tumour in his kidney. The latest we hear is the little boy has been operated and the tumour which was said to be a harmful one, was benign.
Ayan continues to be under medical observation and further treatment is being determined.
Emraan’s uncle Mahesh Bhatt confirmed the news, saying, “On Tuesday, the child underwent an ¬operation at the Hinduja ¬hospital in Mumbai and the tumour has been removed. It was like a time-bomb ticking in his body; and it’s out now.” Bhatt added, “Things are looking better now, but the child is still in the ICU and further medical ¬investigations will determine the future treatment, and that could probably mean ¬chemotherapy.”
Ayan’s illness came as a rude shock to the Hashmi family and people around them. Emraan also cancelled all this shoots outside India, to be with his son.
We hope and wish Ayaan a quick recovery.
