After Sonu, Shankar Ehsaan Loy have problems with T-series

Soon after Sonu Nigam retired from the contract with the T-Series after he had a spat with them, Shankar Ehsaan Loy now get into a fight with them now. The musical trio have composed music for Abhay Deol’s One by Two and were going to sogn a contract with the T-Series so that the audio can get released. But now, the T-Series head Bhushan Kumar demands that they get royalty for the music of the film on Shankar Ehsaan Loy’s behalf for which the trio are not ready.

Speaking about this to a local newspaper, this is what Shankar Mahadevan said, “The music association and our lawyers have advised us to not sign the agreement as it is illegal. We can’t allow the music company to collect royalty on our behalf.”

But then, Bhushan Kumar has an entirely different version. He says that everyone else except for the music directors of ‘small films’ have been okay with the royalty issue. “I have been facing problems only with the smaller films, we never faced problems with Sajid-Wajid who assigned the music rights to Sohail Khan and ditto for Ram Sampath who has composed music for my film Bhootnath 2. Even Himesh Reshammiya has agreed to give rights to his music” was what Bhushan Kuamr said.
Only the producer of One By Two is capable of coming forward to solve this issue between Shankar Ehsaan Loy and the T-Series.
