Javed Jaffrey’s journey from Small screen to Big screen

The versatile Javed Jaffrey has a lot of feathers to his cap! From being a dancer to an actor and everything in between, Javed Jaffrey has earned a good name for himself in everything he has done.

His career started with the film Meri Jung in the year 1985. But to be honest, he gained much recognition with television. Small screen gave him the platform to showcase his talent as an actor, dance and comedian.

He started his career with Channel V and this gave Javed a chance to show off his humour. He went on to become a mimicry artist, voice over artise and a video jockey for this channel.

His next big opporunity was the reality dancing show Boogie Woogie where Javed got to judge young and aspiring dancers. His dancing skills, touch wood, are brilliant.

Javed Jaffrey is known best to be a voice over artist. He dubbed for the channel Disney. Javed lent his voice to comic characters which became immensely popular. Javed also went on to be face behind the voice that makes you laugh like a maniac while watching Takeshi’s Castle. Also, Javed Jaffrey has been a host for a lot of award functions.

Not just Television, Javed Jaffrey has also done quite a lot of good roles in Bollywood films. Some are recognised and remembered while some others are just unnoticed.

Javed Jaffrey’s journey from Small screen to Big screen has been one worth reminiscing. His hard work has paid off and today one takes his name with utmost respect.
