Kareena Kapoor, whose 2013 films haven’t been able to make an impact, has something to look forward to now. She will be seen sharing screen space with Farhan Akhtar for the first time, in a movie that is to be helmed by Dev Benegal.
Kareena, who is very excited about the project, said “This film should keep me occupied in the coming months. I am quite excited since Farhan and I have never worked as co-stars. Now this film is very different and nice. In fact it is a whole new whacky affair. You have to see it to believe it.”
She had recently walked out of Farhan’s sister Zoya’s movie. When asked if there’s any baggage related to that, she said “Well, it is an actor’s prerogative on what he or she really wants to pick and work on. If you don’t get a right feeling about it, it’s fine to move out. I hear that Zoya has got a different cast in place for the film. I am glad that has happened.”
Considering the fact that her last film Gori Tere Pyaar Mein bombed at the box office and her film with Hrithik Roshan has been postponed, this film is a saving grace for the actress.
