Sunny Deol, son of Dharmendra, got emotional while watching a special screening of the 3D version of the Dharmendra-Amitabh Bachchan starrer Sholay, ahead of its release this week.
“It’s been 38 years for Sholay and still it looks so fresh. I loved it and it’s a new experience to watch it in 3D. The entire film looks good in totality. It’s an iconic film and I got emotional watching it. I got emotional throughout the film,” said the 57 year old actor.
The Amitabh Bachchan-Dharmendra starrer is scheduled for a re-release in 3D format on January 3rd.
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan, who did a cameo role in the Hollywood film The Great Gatsby, will be seen in another Hollywood film directed by award winning Argentinean filmmaker Pablo Trapero. This movie is based on the novel Six Suspects by Vikas Swarup (the author of Slumdog Millionaire).
